Weather Pictures

If you ever looked for high resolution weather photographs and struggled to find them for free, check out the National Weather Services photo archive. They have over 20,000 photos including this nice double tornado I found in their historical vault. I think I just found my new wallpaper to match my new Window's theme.

Sweet photos. I think it's cool to look at high res weather pictures. After all, what good are low-res photos? :)

I browsed through the site and they have some spectacular shots of some amazing weather. Thanks for the blog post!

That is a neat picture of a tornado. I just wouldn't want to see it coming towards me. I have actually seen a tornado in UT when I was about 10 years old. It was strange because it was a nice summer day. We were in the car headed towards SLC when I pointed out the strange cloud to the west of the highway. It damaged a farm or two. Luckily no one was injured. I hope all our families will be kept safe while in OK and TN. - Mom B.
